19.11.2023 в городе Сортавала на берегу Ладожского озера был открыт памятник архимандриту валаамского монастыря Мефодию. Скульпторы Р.Игамбердиев и А.Мартьянов, архитектор С.Шувалов.

Отец Мефодий - один из самых известных монахов Валаамского монастыря нашего времени, он прожил в обители более 28 лет, активно участвовал в ее возрождении. /

At 19th of November 2023 the monument for Methdius - the archimandrite of the Valaam Monastery - was presented for public in Sortavala.The authors of the monument are sculptors R.Igamberdiev and A.Martianov, architect S.Shuvalov.

Methodius was one of the famous monks of the Valaam Monastery of modern time. He spent in the monastery vore then 28 years and took an active part in its revival.
